PROJECT LIFE TITLE PAGE

A few weeks ago I wrote a post about starting Project Life and sharing my process here. It was a simple idea to me... take pictures throughout the week, journal, and document life as it happens to create a beautiful and heart-felt album of the year. 

However, when it came to designing the first page I froze. I didn't want to just jump in and start with the first week. So I took a look at some beautiful blogs like Tickled Yellow and Big City Quiet for inspiration that share a similar aesthetic to mine. Simple, minimal embellishments, and a cohesive colour scheme.

Eventually I settled on a layout that easily described me and my boyfriend's lifestyle. I chose to introduce this album as a volume since I started at a random spot of the year. It's not perfect but I feel that it introduces who I am and what this album is about in just the right way.

What I love is that it doesn't have to stay like this either. Maybe my style will change and I can alter it to fit me. I truly love this way of memory keeping.
