Greatest Comforts
This week has been particularly difficult for personal reasons completely outside of the fact that i'm a graduate student working on a never-ending practicum who is slightly tired of the academic realm. I'm normally a trooper when it comes to dealing with daily stresses, but this week has challenged me in ways I didn't see coming. So it only seems fitting, even though it wasn't originally planned to be a post for today, that I would remind myself of the things that I take great comfort in.
Here's something to know about me... I am 100% obsessed with lists.
All kinds. To do lists, shopping lists, cleaning lists, gratitude lists. You name it. I love it.
A few months ago I stumbled across Moorea Seal's 52 List Project on Pinterest and, of course, I instantly fell in love. There are some lists that speak to me more than others. And while I strive for order and balance in my life, I decided to tackle the lists in a way that suited me and my daily life rather than going week by week in order throughout the year.
I see this blog as a reflection of myself and a sort of digital journal that I can visit later on in my life to see what my 24 year old self was feeling, doing, and thinking. I hope reading this list in the future will bring me comfort, and I hope that my readers will find something comforting or relatable as well.
Brace yourselves... this is a long one.
